Meet Fifi Bijou
A Margate jewellery shop named after a very good French bulldog.
Small Treasures
Fifi Bijou got its name, and the original logo, from Lauren's French bulldog, Fifi. Bijou means small treasure in French, which is what Fifi is, and what every piece in the shop aims to be.
Lauren founded Fifi Bijou in 2024. Her charm necklaces quickly became a hit with locals and day trippers to Margate.
She has always been obsessed with jewellery. Her own collection is huge, and it now includes plenty of Fifi Bijou originals.
You'll find Lauren in the shop at Old Kent Market, happily making up new charm jewellery. Since the start, the team has grown by one: Neve, known as Nelly, a Romanian rescue Chorgi (part chihuahua, part corgi).
Our permanent jewellery goes by the name Fifi Forever.
